When it comes to the ideal professional standards, colleage students each hold their own ideas. According to the ban chart, it is not difficult for us to find that the stability and salary of a job are seriously taken into consideration. The students also pay more or less attention to the development potential of a job, as well as their interests. However, only 26% of them care whether a certain job is helpful in winning merits or not.

More often than not, the college students look highly upon the stability and high salary of vocation, while ignoring personal development. What leads to this situation? There are, to my mind, plenty of contributing causes, among which the following ones are particularly worth mentioning. Firstly, the traditional thinking tells us that everyone must work to live. It seems that the job is a tool used to make a living rather than to win merits for oneself. Secondly, we live in a materialistic society and are taught early on to be materialistic and taught to know the importance of money. It is unavoidable to seek for security from future jobs. Moreover, I might also cite individual characters as a reason.
