What are your hobbies?
How do you spend your weekends?
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm crazy about reading. Compared with poetry and autobiographies, I' m more into novels and fictions . Reading on a comfortable sofa in an afternoon with the sun shining brightly is my coziest time.
I also love traveling. Traveling fills me with great passion and the inner desire to explore. During the journey, not only can I enjoy great scenery, experience different cultures, but also make new friends.
Well, in my spare time, I like playing basketball, for this game could not only refresh my body and my mind, but also enable me to realize the significance of team spirit. Besides, English is my favorite subject. I like to do something relating to English such as listening to English songs, watching English movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some English clubs or instituttions in order to improve my proficiency in English. But I deeply understand there is still much room for improvement in my English, so I will keep working on it.
What is your plan in the postgraduate study?
Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?
Do not say very rigid goals.
Q: What is your plan in the postgraduate study? /How do you plan to study for your graduate programme?
A: I've already made a plan for my postgraduate study. If luckily I got the admission to this university, I would make good use of the two/three years. You know, the two/three years is very short for an aspirant pursuer for knowledge, so it's necessary to make a good plan both for my academic research and future career. First, I will try my best to grasp the theoretical knowledge and set the solid foundation for my further study. Second, if time permits, I will do some part-time job relevant to my major and in this way I can put the theory into practice. Third, I will apply for a doctor degree if impossible.
Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years' time?
A: It is really difficult to imagine where I will be in ten years' time. But I really hope that ten years from now on, I will already be happily married, have a cozy home, a stable, challenging and well-paid job in which I can find great interest. I hope to have already made some contribution in the research area and had some several publications. And also, I hope by that time, I will have been a person who knows how to be grateful for what life has blessed me with.

Q: How did you enjoy your college life?
A : Generally speaking, my college life was busy and colorful. In my spare time, I took an active part in all kinds of voluntary and practice work. In the meantime, I enriched my experience and met new friends sharing similar interests. In addition, I’ve spent quite some time in reading. The works of the great minds are really extraordinary and instructive and through reading I’ve stepped into the unknown but wonderful fields that I’d never thought worthy of my time.
Q: What impressed you the most at college?
A：I believe the library of my university has impressed me the most. If I want to look for a certain professional book, the library seldom lets me down. The searching system is well developed and finding the book is just a click away. Moreover, the books stored in the library are diverse, covering almost all the subjects. Every time I go to the library, it feels like I’m going on a wonderful journey because I’m convinced that I’ll find some brilliant books there.
Q: How are you getting along with your classmates?
A：I get along well with my classmates. We live together and study together. When one of us in trouble, the others help him/her without any hesitation. Since we are far away from home, we take care of each other like brothers and sisters. Although sometimes we may have different opinions on something, or we may even quarrel with each other, that doesn’t affect our friendship.
