不过我倒是很欣赏下面这句话, "Easy come, easy go. 得来易, 失去也易." 这是一句奉劝世人的名言, 意思是说, 包括爱情在内的任何事情都不能不劳而获.

朋友要为你介绍对象 -- 一个完美的男人, 并想安排你们的初次约会blind date. 那你应该先警告你的朋友:" Don't let me down. 别让我失望." 事与愿违, 最后你往往只有失望的份了. 呵呵. 起初听朋友介绍, 那个人简直就是一个白马王子, 又高又帅, 等到见面的时候, 大失所望, 对方简直就是一个像猪八戒一样的丑八怪, 说是同龄the same age人, 实际上完全可以做你的叔叔了. -..-;; 所以最好不要去参加什么朋友安排的"相亲约会"为好.

很多时候失望容易导致anger生气. 没事乱打一通电话骚扰朋友, 人家当然会irritate恼怒了. 如果是collect call对方付费, 那人家就会变得enrage暴怒了. 朋友可能在rage盛怒之下与你断交break off呢. ^^ 父亲告诉我, 单纯的angry生气的状态并不能导致癌症的发生, 而是在indignant愤怒的状态下却又不get angry生气, swallow one's anger忍气吞声, 久而久之, 积淀而成癌症. 哇~爸爸真了不起, 还知道这些呢~.

听人说, 经常sullen绷着脸的或者blunt迟钝的人, 到了晚年, 身体的健康状况会一天不如一天的. 所以, 如果你的性格是irritable易怒型的, 那就试着好好控制一下吧. 哎呀~有皱着眉头了. 这样不好的, 放松一些~~.

【单词扩展】

1. 相亲
当你想告诉你的朋友"我昨天去参加了朋友安排的相亲的事"时, 请这样说:" I had a blind date yesterday."

2. 前缀en-"造成"
en-有"造成"的意思, 而enrage是en(make)加上表示"愤怒"之意的rage构成的. 因此, 可解释为"使愤怒".
en(make) + danger(危险) --> endanger(使遭到危险)
en(make) + large(大) --> enlarge(使变大, 详细说明)

3. 我今天不开心
这句话表达方式有很多, 这里举两个例子:
I feel annoyed today.
I am not in good humor today.
