Air New Zealand subsidiary, TAE, has bought all the shares in Australia's Masling Industries Pty Ltd.

新西兰航空的子公司TAE，已经收购了澳大利亚Masling Industries Pty有限公司的全部股份。

Masling chairman Brian O'Malley said today all shareholders had sold their shares to TAE, one of Australasia's leading aerospace companies, which is expanding its maintenance services into the regional, helicopter and general aviation markets.

The change of ownership took effect on November 3, the Cootamundra Herald reported.Mr O'Malley said TAE had plans for expansion in Cootamundra, a small town in the wheatbelt of southern New South Wales.

Masling Industries employs 11 people there, running a specialised component overhaul business mainly dealing with gas turbine engines in helicopters and medium-sized aircraft.

TAE general manager Andrew Sanderson said Masling Industries was an "excellent fit" and the acquisition represented a significant step in the company's strategy to accelerate growth in our aircraft engine components business.

TAE employs 240 people in Australia providing design, engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and repair solutions to the aviation industry internationally.

It is based at Amberley in Queensland, near a big Royal Australian Air Force base, with business units located at Brisbane Airport, Newcastle, Richmond and now Cootamundra.
