1. pass off

发生；停止；终止；

[例句]The demonstration passed off without incident.

游行自始至终未发生意外。

2. pass out

分发；<口>昏厥；喝得烂醉；分配；

[例句]He felt sick and dizzy and then passed out.

他感到恶心、眩晕，然后就昏了过去。

3. pay back

偿还；偿付；报答；报复；

[例句]He burst into tears, begging her to forgive him and swearing to pay back everything he had stolen.

他突然大哭起来，求她原谅，并发誓偿还他偷的所有东西。

4. pay off

付清；（付清工资后）解雇；<非正>取得成功；使得益；
